The Q-Switched Nd:YAG Dual Laser (1064 nm laser and 532 nm laser) is a state-of-the-art technology designed to deliver ultra-short, high-intensity pulses of light that specifically target unwanted pigment in the skin.

Unlike traditional lasers, the Q-Switched system works in nanoseconds, breaking down pigment particles without damaging surrounding tissue.

Contraindications

While safe for most patients, Q-Switched Laser may not be recommended in the following cases:

  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding.
  • Active skin infections, or psoriasis in the treatment area
  • History of keloid or hypertrophic scarring
  • Recent tanning or sunburn
  • Use of photosensitizing medications
  • Uncontrolled diabetes or autoimmune conditions (e.g., lupus)
  • Suspicious pigmented lesions (rule out melanoma before treating)

What to Expect?

Before Treatment:

  • Avoid sun exposure and tanning for at least 2 weeks.
  • Stop using retinoids, glycolic acid, or bleaching creams 5–7 days prior.
  • Inform us about any medications or supplements.
  • Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin.

After Treatment:

  • Expect mild redness or swelling for a few hours to 1–2 days.
  • Apply prescribed soothing creams or cold compresses.
  • Avoid swimming for 10 days after tattoo removal sessions.
  • Strictly avoid sun exposure; use broad-spectrum SPF 50+ daily for 3-4 weeks.
  • Do not scratch or pick at treated areas.
  • Avoid hot showers, saunas, or vigorous exercise for 48 hours.
  • Multiple sessions may be required for optimal results.
