Prof. Alfred Naaman received his dental degree from Saint-Joseph University, Faculty of Dental Medicine, Beirut, Lebanon. He completed his post-graduate education in endodontics at Denis-Diderot Paris VII University, Faculty of Dental Medicine, France and received his PhD from Saint-Joseph University. He is former chairman of the department of Endodontics.
He has a large private clinical experience in endodontics and lectures internationally and domestically. He has published more than 40 articles in peer-reviewed journals, and is known for his impeccable work on root canal surgery.
Prof. Alfred Naaman is a fellow in the International College of Dentists, an international member of the American Association of Endodontists and an active member of the Lebanese Society of Endodontology. He is also a Professor of graduate and post-graduate endodontics at Saint-Joseph University, Beirut, Lebanon where he developed a new endodontic cement (MM-MTA) and received the silver medal of merit from the President of the Republic of Lebanon in 2014.
